| 9:45-10:30 a.m. | Machine Thinking in Collections Presenter: Ranjan Dharmaraja, Quantrax Corporation Inc. Our credit worthiness is decided by software. Complex systems present multi-city air travel options, without the need for a travel agent. Of course we all know that large airplanes can be landed with an auto-pilot option. So we may ask, why not machine thinking in collections? Vendors are introducing more decision-making into their products. How far can we go? Quantrax Corporation introduced artificial intelligence to the collection industry nearly 20 years ago. This presentation will share the architecture and potential of the technology, the challenges with implementation and the results we have seen. Ranjan Dharmaraja is CEO and chief technologist of Quantrax Corporation. He is an engineer who began his career with IBM and then moved into software development. Ranjan started Quantrax over 20 years ago and has about 25 years of high-level collections experience. He believes that collection systems have not kept up with the tremendous growth and progress of computer hardware. |
