The Certified Professional Business Executive (CPBE) recognizes an individual's achievements and success. Those who complete the Certified Healthcare Collector (CHC) certification are supporting their own professional development, while enhancing the level of service being provided by their employer agencies. Certification culminates with the Certified Healthcare Business Associate (CHBA) credential, which is the highest level of healthcare certification available to accounts receivable agencies. In 2008, MDHBA added a new certification program for its Agency Member Clients: Certified Patient Account Specialist (CPAS). This program provides education and recognition for agency clients who work with patient balance accounts.
